Message from Mom

[Editor's Note] For those who haven't heard, Neal had his appendix out last Thursday afternoon. It had ruptured before they got him into surgery (thank socialized medicine for that one...they made him wait for the surgery). Mom has spoken with the mission president several times, so we are keeping up to date on the situation. Here's a message from Mom:

Neal is doing well and should get out of the hospital either today or tomorrow. His Mission President says he will be on “house arrest” for a couple of weeks. I want to send a snail-mail to Neal every day because he may not be able to get our e-mails for awhile. I’d like to include some things to help him get through these next couple of weeks while he is recovering . So here is the plan. Saving Elder Neal – 100 things to do (Missionary approved) to fight boredom. If you will all send me a few ideas, I think we can reach the goal and I will send him about 10 ideas every day. I’m sure that you can think of things that will make him laugh, but some things that will really be productive also. It is so hard not to be able to call him on the phone. I’d really like to do that every day. Oh well……………..
