Hello to one and all!!!!
Yes, yes it is true. I am saying bye, bye to Blackburn. I am off to bigger and better things in Wigan!!! That’s right, the place that Lionel [Bienvenu, our favorite local Sportscaster] always makes fun of on “Soccer Tuesday” is my new area. That is not all though…… I am also now a District Leader. I am scared. Not as scared as when I trained, but still quite scared. I have a big district as well. Me and my comp (E. Erickson from Layton, UT), Sisters in Southport, the other elders in Wigan, and the Crosby elders. Yea I am scared. This is a big responsibility, but I am ready for it!!! I am going to work hard, and do all that I can to get things going here. The area is quite good already, and I am coming in at a great time, but I am still scared to be DL. Sorry that was kinda over the top, but hey what are you going to do. I am not sure how long this is going to be, cause I only have an hour on these Computers so I am going as fast as I can.
It was really hard to leave Blackburn. That has been my favourite area so far. I was only there for 3 months, but that doesn’t matter. We had so many good things going there. It was so hard to leave Tom, I actually think that that goodbye was the hardest. He has made the decision that he is going to serve a mission. That made my day. You are going to meet him Mom and Dad, if we meet no one else, you have to meet him!!!! Jenna and Karen were also really sad that I was leaving. I am going to try to make it back to there baptism, and I think that my chances are really good. They are amazing, and I am so glad that I got to teach them. They are going to be great in the church. Karen already acts like she has been a member for years. She told us that she only came to church with Jenna just to see how it was, and she said that she was only going to go once. Yea that has changed….. THE SPIRIT CHANGED HER!!!! I loved that area so much. If I had more time I would write you about all the amazing things that happened in the last week, but I don’t. I will write them down and get them to you soon. There were some miracles that happened that is for sure. Lets just say that the MTC came to tract in Blackburn and we now have another kid dated for Baptism!!!!
So yes I am now in Wigan, and I am really looking forward to it. I am close to Liverpool, and that is the Zone that I am in. I had to get to Preston today and then we took a train to Liverpool, then back to Wigan, it was good. We actually met a family whose son just got home. They all came back as a family to see England. We rode the train all the way from Preston to Liverpool with them. His little sisters were asking me all sorts of questions cause I guess I have been in England a long time. I know that 5 areas makes me sound old, but I really don’t think that I am. I am just in the middle some where right????
Well I am really sorry, but I am going to have to get running. I only have an hour and that time it approaching fast! I love you all sooooooo much, and I thank you for your support. I will be writing to you on Monday, and I will get my mind set into the 1 hour mode so I will get you a better letter.

E-mail from Neal - Received 8/3/09
Hello All,
What another amazing week this has been. I guess the miracles just keep flowing in this amazing work!! We found 10 (count them 10) new investigators last week. We were teaching like mad. We also were able to get 82/21!!!! We have been running around constantly, and that’s why I am tired. I do need to take vitamins, but remember Mom I am not in a third world country; I can just go to ASDA and get some. I am sleeping quite well though and I am taking naps on our breaks (when we get them). We are working hard though, and that’s the important part. I am loving this time so, so much, and I am so glad that I am here.
The weather has been fun though. It has been raining here almost everyday. They first said that August was going to be really, really nice, but then they changed that and said that it was going to rain the whole time. The past two days have been really nice though, so we are hoping for the first prediction. That is crazy that you are getting a ton of rain though. I guess that that is good though. We have needed it for so long! I am used to rain now. I have a nice umbrella that a member gave to me, and I am all set. My black suit has gotten wet more times than I can count though. I have decided that I am going to wear my black one into the ground. I am never wearing my new one except for special occasions and my grey suit is going to be my Sunday/meetings suit. I figure that when I destroy both sets of pants in my black suit that I can just go to ASDA or Primark and get a plain pair of black pants. I only have what like 9 something months left, I have really lost track. All of my long sleeve shirts are dying rapidly. All the left cuffs are gone. I am trying to make them last, but they are a lost cause. I am going to go look at some shirts today, and if they are reasonable I might get 2-3. I have one that I found at the flat so that would give me 4 and I could deal with that. I have started to man up and wear short sleeve shirts more now. If it stays nice that is all I will wear for the next 2 months, but I doubt it!
3 Nephi 11 – It was a bit more than just baptism that he told them to do. He gave them the Authority to baptize, and that is the absolute Key!!!! With out the authority we have nothing. That is really what sets us apart from everything else. I am so thankful for that fact, and I am so grateful for the blessings that I have received from that authority!!! The Church is so true it's not even funny!
So you want to hear something way funny about Swine Flu….. until further notice the Europe Area Presidency have banned handshakes and hugs. How funny is that?!?!?! The Elbow knock is becoming big among the YSA and the fist pound is big in the youth! I think that it is all a big scare, but whatever I will obey. Me and E. Llaguno decided that if one of us gets it, then we are just going to infect the other one so we are both down at the same time, and we don’t lose a ton of time being sick at different times. I have been laughing about swine flu a lot lately. Everyone in our ward has gotten it, including the bishop!
Tomorrow is interviews with President and I am really excited as always. I love chatting to president, he’s amazing! We will be in Chorley all day, which is also way good. The temple is closed for cleaning right now, and they are doing a ton of work. They are ripping out the back to ponds and cleaning up everything. I didn’t know that you clean perfection, but you can I guess! Transfers are this next week, so I will not be writing until Wednesday or Thursday. I am not sure what is going to happen. I think that E. Llaguno is going to train, but that is just my guess. I could move, but I could also see us two staying together for another transfer. We will find out, but I will let you know of course.
I think that that is all. Know that I love you and am so excited to be here. This is the best place that I could ever be. I love Blackburn so much! Stay strong and keep studying. I started the Book of Mormon over again and I just started 2 Nephi today! I am almost done with the New Testament and then it is on the Pearl of Great Price, followed by the D&C!!! I love the scriptures!!!

E-mail from Neal - Received 7/27/09
Hello to everyone!!!
I am so tired! We have been so busy it is insane. We set up 15 appointments 2 weeks ago, as you know, and we set up 19 this past week. We have been running around everywhere, but it is great! When you are busy you have absolutely no time to think about anything else but the work. I love it. We have been seeing some amazing things happen, and I am so happy! Missions are great. I keep saying that to everyone, but its way true.
I am glad that you enjoyed 2 Nephi 31. It is an amazing chapter. President Bullock just explained that there are only two places that Heavenly Father HIMSELF teaches a doctrine. He speaks a lot and introduces Christ a ton, but he only teaches twice. That is in verse 11 and 15. The amazing thing is what he teaches. Of all the commandments that God the Father chooses to teach, what does he teach??? Repentance, Baptism, and Enduring to the End!!! How important must those principals be?!?!? It was an amazing training. President also taught us something else. Read 3 Nephi 11 and tell me what the first thing that Christ does when he visits the Nephites (proving who he is, is not part of it). It is amazing to think of the scriptures this way!!! I love listening to leaders!
We have had some really cool experiences this week, and some interesting ones as well. We have been working our tails off as I have said, and with that comes crazy experiences. I will start with the not so fun one……
Last Monday we were sitting at a bus stop minding out own business. All of the sudden this group of Muslim teens come over and start asking us for money and what not. They see our badges and start freaking out on us. They are yelling and wanting to start a fight. We were calm, and cool, and just told them that we were not going to fight. They were all right in our faces and it was kinda scary. All of the sudden this car pulls up and this older Muslim guy gets out. The kids obviously knew him, and he told them to get lost. They didn’t really listen so he started to push them away. They move a bit and he starts to get back in his car. They come back to us and he yells at them to get lost. The kids then say this….. “But they have Jesus Christ on their chest.” The guy with out even thinking says…. “and what does that have to do with you!!” I was trying not to laugh. The kids leave and he waits in his car until they are fully gone. Then he turns to us and gives a wink and head nod. We said thank you and he drove off. It was way funny. We saw that kid again last night, and he told us that he was really drunk. We just said don’t worry about it and moved on. I love missions!!!! You have some crazy wild things happen.
Now for a good Story…..
Our investigator named Karen Riley, is particularly doing great. She has quit smoking and so far is doing quite good with that. She has not had a cigarette for about a week now. She said that last week, when she quit, she was really frustrated and angry about everything. She told a member that she was not sure about all of the things that she was doing, and the things that she had been taught. She was even thinking about calling off her baptism. She then told us that she had remembered how she had felt when she prayed about the Book of Mormon and how she feels in the lessons, took a deep breath, and prayed. She said that she instantly felt better. She felt comforted by the spirit, and she knew that everything was ok. That was great to hear. That is my favourite part of the teaching process, when you hear the investigator have a moment like that. You can tell that they really do get it, and that they truly know for themselves. It has been a joy to teach Karen so far, and her baptism is going to be amazing! After every lesson she thanks us for allowing her to feel the spirit. I gave her a very bold promise last time about her smoking. I told her that if she really wants to quit smoking she can, and she will have the Lord on her side. She said that she has tried to quit before, but I told her that this time is different because divine help is there if she wants it.
I am excited and happy…. tired, but happy. I love you all, and I am so thankful for the amazing support that you give to me. I hope to hear from you soon.

E-mail from Neal - Received 7/20/09
Hello to my amazing Family!!!!!!
Well where to start….. This week has been a really great one. I am absolutely exhausted! We have been running all over Blackburn these past two days, and my legs are about to fall off. We have been running in the mornings, and we are playing Football today, so I think that by tonight I am not going to be able to do anything! Its ok though, that is what life is all about. Maybe I can lose some of this weight that I have put on. I mostly just want to lose my face fat. I hate having a fat face!!! Anyways, this week has been really, really good. We had 4 investigators at church yesterday, and we have 3 dated for baptism. Summer Whitaker is dated for the 2nd of Oct., and Jenna and Karen Riley are dated for the 5th of Sept. They are all great! They are all member referrals as well. I have never seen this much success in my entire mission. We taught a ton of lessons last week, and we still managed to pull 72/15 in the QGC category. We are accomplishing amazing things, and I know that it will only get better. I am so happy and excited right now! Blackburn is quickly becoming my favourite area. It is slowly creeping up on Stretford!
Joseph – We talked to the Lancaster sisters on Thursday at zone conference, and they said that they taught the Law of Chastity to him very clearly and directly, and he committed to live it. We aren’t too sure what is going on fully, but we don’t think that he will be getting baptised on the 1st. He will have to have an interview with president before he can really have an official date. Paul talks about it very boldly in Romans, and Preach my Gospel also makes it very clear. He cannot be baptised until he has completely forsaken the life style. It is more than just not practicing as I once thought. But that is enough on that.
The Suit – IS AMAZING!!!!! I am never going to buy a lame American suit again if I can help it. They have no style and no class. I am sorry, I am not one to be super into clothing, but the dressy stuff over here is NICE!!!! The suits are better, and shirts are better, the shoes are much better, the ties don’t even compare!!! I am going to be doing a little stock up before I come home. Like I said if dad wants a new NICE suit, we can go to the Burnley suit shop.
Zone Conference – Oh my goodness President Bullock is going to be an Apostle someday. I am not even kidding you when I say that. He blew our minds last Thursday. He talked about what our purpose is as a missionaries and how that is the same purpose as the Godhead, the ancient prophets, the modern prophets, and the ancient and modern apostles. I could give you scriptures to back that up, but I don’t have them with me. He then told us something that blew me away. I am going to let you all find it out for yourself how cool this is though...
I want you ALL to read 2 Nephi 31 and then answer these questions…..
1) Who is speaking in each verse? (Hint: There are 3 people that speak)
2) What do they all teach about?
3) Why is that so important?
I will give you another hint…… pay special attention to Verses 11 and 15. What happens in those verses only happens twice in the all the standard works, and it is those two times.
After you do that, go and read page 1 of PMG….. MY PURPOSE!

I got to see a lot of good friends at Zone Conference. E. Driscoll is doing a lot better. He said that he was still sick for about 5 days after he left me, be he then got over whatever it was. It was way good to see him and talk to him again. I have missed him. I also got to see some other great mission friends. It was a great day. I always love Zone Conference!!!
Assistants – The exchange with the assistants was really great. It is so good to see them outside of meetings and to see that they really are real missionaries just like us. E. Garcia is just the same, fun, crazy Spaniard! Him and E. Llaguno had a blast. They didn’t speak Spanish at all because they are serving in an English mission. They are working on their language skills and speaking Spanish wouldn’t help that. They sang in Spanish once or twice. It was a great exchange. It rained the whole time, but it was great. They really helped out a lot. I went with E. Ayers, and he is amazing. He did theatre back home so we had a lot in common. We had a good time, and he really helped me a lot in some things!!!!
I really do think that that is all that I have to talk about this week. We have just been on the move constantly this whole week. I will be in Chorley for the next day or so on exchanges, so that will be fun! I always love going back there. I am really happy right now, tired, but really happy. We are seeing amazing things, and that always helps. Know that I love you all and I pray for you everyday. I can really feel your prayers as I go through out my day, and I thank you for that. Stay strong and go and check out the reading assignment I gave to you. I will be looking forward to seeing what you found!

Yes yes, there always has to be a down after an up. Don’t get worried I am still on top of the world and we are doing amazing, but we did get a huge ball dropped on us this week. We found out the night before Joseph left for Lancaster that he is gay. Why do I get hit with the same trial over and over again? I had to deal with it in Shrewsbury, and now again. I think that this time is going to be worse though. I am not going to tell you why, maybe when I get home, but it is going to not be good. I am really glad that the sisters are going to be teaching him for a while, and that I will hopefully just get to pick up after the issue has been resolved. Please pray for him. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!!! Other than that we are doing great. E. Llaguno is an amazing missionary and he is a great example to me. I really want to serve with young missionaries for the rest of my mission because they have so much fire. I am getting old and slowing down a bit. Not mentally. I am actually getting quicker mentally, but physically I am slowing down, and getting tired. It is a good tired though, a very good tired!!!
Yesterday was really great. I got a chance to speak in church. It was supposed to just be a testimony, but that got extended right as I got up. I was totally winging it, but I thought that it was very, very good. Bro. Beverly who is in the bishopric and a very hard love Scotsman said that it was one of the best talks that he has heard from a missionary. It was not the usual thing. I used a lot of thoughts from a talk that I have by Elder Holland. He is my favourite. I talked all about Christ and how important the Atonement is. It was great, and I was really happy after giving it. I really felt the spirit speak through me!! I really love being a missionary, and being able to wing stuff like that and make people cry. My biggest fear when I get released, the mantle is lifted, and the badge taken off is that I will lose that ability. I really do not want that to happen!!!
We have been doing a lot of work with less actives this week. We got two of them back to church this Sunday, and that felt great. It was good to see a different side of missionary work for a change. We were still doing great things, but in a different light! The work is needed everywhere, and missionaries can do things that a lot of members cannot. The badge sometimes gets us in the door instantly!
I am running out of time so I really have to get running. I do love you all so much, and I look forward to your emails every week. It is Zone Conference on Thursday, so I am going off to Chorley. Then after that E. Garcia is coming on exchanges with us. He is going to be going with E. Llaguno so the two Spaniards are going to be out together! It is going to be hilarious! I am going with E. Ayers who is from Canada, so that will be fun. Have a good week, and always remember that you are in my prayers!!!

HI EVERYONE!!
WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I really don’t know where to start. This week has been a week for the record books. I guess I will just start by telling you the amazing key points and then I will go day by day.
- 6 new investigators
- 4 at church
- A young man dated for baptism on the first lesson
- 58/11 in 5 days
Ok now that you are smiling I will talk about the past 4 days…..
Wednesday – I told you all about the rain storm and the Text message from Joseph.
Thursday – After emails we taught an amazing lesson to a new investigator named Karen Riley. She is a member referral and is the mom of one of our other investigators Jenna. She is amazing. She came to church a few weeks ago to hear Adam (Jenna’s Boyfriend) sing. He sang with Bro. Brox (old Ward Mission leader, and now 1st Councilor), E. Driscoll, and myself. She loved church and she really wanted to learn more. She was asking a ton of questions in gospel principles, and now she is an investigator. Both her and Jenna were at church this week, and they loved it. There is a lot of little issues with Jenna that I will not go into, but hopefully all will work out great.
Right after that lesson though we were out talking to people, as we always do. I felt prompted to take a different way home and to go street contacting up this one street. We as we did we talked to a few people, and funny thing is that everyone wanted to talk to us. I ended up talking to one guy, got a QGC with him. He then went and got his brother, got a QGC and an appointment with him. There mom then came out, and I got a QGC with her too!!! This whole time E. Llaguno was down the street getting an appointment with a guy that became a new investigator yesterday!! It was the spirit prompting me for sure, and I cannot deny that!!
Friday – We taught Joseph on Friday! I will put what I wrote to President because I think that it explains it well…. We were walking with Joseph and our fellowshipper to the church for the first lesson. As we came up to the church this man appeared out of nowhere and started to ask us questions. He had us all bear our testimonies about Christ (not allowing us really to ever finish what we wanted to say), and then he bore his very strange but valid testimony of Christ. He then proceeded to tell us that we were all wrong and false and just up and walked off down the road. He claimed that he was a Jew, but I think that I know what he really was…. SATAN IN THE FLESH!!!! (I added that last bit for you, I didn’t send that to president) It was the most interesting experience that I have had on my mission, and I know that it was Satan trying to get to Joseph. It didn’t work because right as soon as the lesson started Joseph told us that he had not only read the Book of Mormon, but prayed about it. He told us that he absolutely knew that it is true, and that he wanted to join the church. We dated him for baptism on the first lesson (August 1st). Satan has no power over the hearts of man, when they have a firm testimony of the restored gospel! I am so grateful for the blessings that I have in my life and that I have the chance to serve the Lord every single day!!
Talk about amazing! There is always a catch though. He is going to Lancaster for a month for summer school, so we are going to pass him off to the sisters up there. He will come back and probably get baptized here. I know that that is quite cheeky on our part, but he it's what needs to happen. He is so prepared. Stay tuned for what happened on Sunday!!!
Saturday – Stake athletics day. It was a ton of fun. I got to do the long jump, 800m, and the 4x100m relay. I also started the 5k, but we had to go so I only could finish half of it. It was a great day. It was beautiful and I got really sun burned for the first time on my mission. I did really bad at the long jump, I got second in the 800m by a nose (check out the picture), and we got 3rd in the 4x100m. It was a great day though. E. Black ended up taking first out of the whole stake!!!!! Jenna was there and she had a great time. It was really fun to mingle with the members and to gain more and more trust with them. I did learn that I am not totally out of shape like I thought that I was, but I am still nothing that I used to be, it makes me sad!!!
Saturday night was amazing though. We went tracting (I was really not in the mood), but it was the best ever. The 6th door we knocked on was a young guy and his girlfriend that let us in!!!! This is the first time that I have been let in a door and properly taught a first lesson. I don’t like tracting, and I find street contacting much more effective, but the Lord kind of rebuked me for that thought! They were really great. Joe is 18 and Rachel is 17 and they were so nice. Joe was house sitting for his aunt, and Rachel was there to keep him company. Joe has always wanted to talk to missionaries, so he did not hesitate to let us in. It was a great first lesson. The spirit was really, really strong. After the first vision Rachel told us a really cool thing. She said that she had learned about Joseph Smith in High School (our middle school) and that out of all the stories and religions that she learned about, the only story that had ever stuck in her mind was the Joseph Smith story! I DO NOT BELIEVE IN COINCIDENCE!!!!!!!! The spirit is real, and it prepared those two young kids!!! Again there is a catch….. They both live in Burnley and we will only get to teach them once more before they are back up there. We are going to pass them off for good, but we did what we were supposed to do. Elder Nielsen is up in Burnley now, so they will be in very good hands.
Sunday – Like I said, 4 people at church, which is huge for me, and for Blackburn. It was a great Sunday. Joseph loved it!!! Now for the big news about Joseph…. You might want to sit down for this one. I will give you some time……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
We had a meeting after church but we wanted to teach him and so he hung out with Tom (OH MY GOSH I LOVE TOM), and some other ward members, and this is what we found out after that meeting. Be sure that you are sitting down!!!!!!
Joseph is absolutely amazing. He did in fact read the Book of Mormon in 2 days, but that is not the most amazing part. He has dyslexia and because of that it is extremely difficult for him to read anything on white paper. He has a little blue visor device that he puts over the page that allows him to read better. He told us yesterday at church that ever since he picked up the Book of Mormon he has not needed to use that visor! I didn’t quite know what to say except that God is a God of miracles. He has been prepared to receive this gospel, and he has loved every minute of it so far. He really loved church yesterday, and we have taught him two lessons now. I absolutely know that Joseph has been prepared by God to receive this gospel, and I know that because Satan has already tried to get to him, PHYSICALLY!!!
You can breathe again now.
Yesterday was so good. Tom got the Priesthood yesterday, and he has been really searching for an answer to what he needs to do in life. He had been leaning towards the Navy, but a mission is something that he would love to do. He told me that he was fasting yesterday for help, and I told him to also study. Bishop had a quiet word with him, and encouraged him to go on a mission. All the testimonies in the meeting were directed at the fact that people had already received their answers. In the Blessing that Bro Brox gave him he said that he would find all the answers that he needed in the scriptures. After the meetings Tom saw my Welsh badge on my scriptures and he took it off and stuck it on his coat. He stopped and said…. “That’s Better!” I don’t know if he was trying to tell me something, but I told him…. “Tom, that badge would serve you better than the Navy would.” He looked at me and said “I know, everyone has been saying that.” I think that he is going to serve a mission, and if he does I am going to absolutely die!!! I love Tom so much, he is an amazing young man. I hope that you can all meet him someday!
Missions are amazing. I have made the right decision. I love this place. I love the people, I love the experiences, I love the blessings, I love everything about it!!!! I have only been here for 6 weeks, but this has been the best 6 weeks of my life. Amazing things are still to come!!!!

E-mail from Neal - Received 7/2/09
Hello to my Amazing Family!!!!
Well I will start with the big news that I am staying in Blackburn. The sad news is that E. Driscoll is not. He got transferred to Bolton, which is in Manchester. We were both really sad, but its ok cause we know that the Lord is in the decision. We had some nice goodbyes, and we know that we will be around each other again. He was getting much better before he left. He finally broke over the bad part of the sickness, and he is now almost back to normal. I will get to see him on the 16th of July at zone conference so I am way excited. We got comp ties that are way sweet!!! I will never forget him.
My New comp is named E. Llaguno (pronounced Ja-gun-o) and he is from Spain. I have now served with both of the Spanish missionaries in the mission. He is really, really, really good. He has been out for 3 months, and this is his second area. He just came from the Isle of Man!! His last comp was the former assistant to the president E. Frogley, so I really do have my work cut out for me. He is a fireball. Full of energy and really full of faith! It is going to be a great transfer and great things are going to happen.
Ok so this week has been crazy with transfers and all. Last week was mostly spent trying to get E. Driscoll better. He was still quite tired all last week. We did go to Chorley on Tuesday for interviews and training, so that was good.
These past two days have been wild. Elder Driscoll had to take a train BY HIMSELF, to Bolton. He was kinda weirded out about it. He has ridden trains his whole life alone, but now he is scared to. He is now serving with a kid from London, so we will see how that goes. The Weather has been crazy. It has been really, really, really hot the past few days, and it has been tough to deal with. I am not used to the humidity at all. Yesterday was crazy though, cause we got like a 5 minute hurricane!!! No joke, it was insane. We left the house and it was sunny and nice, in 10 minutes it was a torrential downpour. We had no coats, no umbrellas, and no cover! I felt as though I had jumped into a lake with all my stuff on. Pictures would have done no justice really, but it was crazy. ASDA was closed cause it flooded HA HA HA!!!!! I think that it was God punishing me for complaining about the heat!! It was wild, but then after that the best thing ever happened…. We got the most amazing Text message ever!!!! Now let me tell you about text messages in the mission. They are usually really bad. People dropping us, cancelling appointments, and just other random stuff, so we always, always, always dread them. This one however was the exact opposite...
A couple of days ago we got a referral from the office, a website request from a young man. It said that he was a religious studies student and that he wanted to learn more. We contacted him and gave him a Book of Mormon and a few pamphlets. We tried to set up an appointment, but he didn’t seem to interested in that. We left hoping and praying that something good would happen. Last night (Elder Llaguno’s first night) we got a text message from this young man. He said that he had read the entire Book of Mormon and it blew him away! He said that he had highlighted passages and that he really wanted to learn more. We called him straight away and set up an appointment. We will be seeing him on Friday, and I could not be more excited about it. I am amazed at how the Lord works. Miracles do happen, and they happen every single day. Often times you have to look deep for them, but sometimes they hit you right in the face. I really don’t know what else to say but the Lord really does love us, and he is watching out for us! We will be getting Tom to help us out cause this new kid is also 18, and Tom will be amazing for him!
Anyways I need to get moving, we still need to shop today if ASDA is back open. I love you all and I will write you on Monday. I am so grateful for the support and love that you give to me. The gospel really does bless families!!!

We contacted him and gave him a Book of Mormon and a few pamphlets. We tried to set up an appointment, but he didn’t seem to interested in that. We left hoping and praying that something good would happen. Last night (Elder Llaguno’s first night) we got a text message from this young man. He said that he had read the entire Book of Mormon and it blew him away! He said that he had highlighted passages and that he really wanted to learn more. We called him straight away and set up an appointment. We will be seeing him on Friday, and I could not be more excited about it. I am amazed at how the Lord works. Miracles do happen, and they happen every single day. Often times you have to look deep for them, but sometimes they hit you right in the face. I really don’t know what else to say but the Lord really does love us, and he is watching out for us! We will be getting Tom to help us out cause this new kid is also 18, and Tom will be amazing for him!
Anyways I need to get moving, we still need to shop today if ASDA is back open. I love you all and I will write you on Monday. I am so grateful for the support and love that you give to me. The gospel really does bless families!!!
